Yul Edochie makes U-turn, condemns Christianity
Controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has slammed Christians, noting that they were brainwashed into learning about some Biblical characters while neglecting their ancestors.
This most recent stand negates his previous opinion where he proclaimed Jesus as Lord, warning Nigerians never to say there’s no power in the name.
He also emphasised that doing so marks the beginning of downfall.
However, in a spiritual message he posted on social media, the self-acclaimed pastor said it was shameful to know about Bible characters and not about ancestors.
He wrote, “We have all been brainwashed to know everything about Moses, Jacob, Isaac and the people of Israel yet we know nothing about our ancestors, we know nothing about the exploits of our grandfathers, grandmothers & all the great people in our lineage.
“Big shame on all of us. If you don’t know who you’re and where you’re coming from you’ll never know where you’re heading to.
