Some weeks back, the story of a comedian , Samuel Awal, with the stage name Big Shark, who ace comedian Ali Baba mourned last week died under controversial circumstance hit the air waves. There have been some headways and it was reported that he murdered over N250m.
Big Shark was murdered in his hotel room in Jalingo, Taraba State on Dec. 8th. The day he was murdered, Big Shark had been at the Jolly Nyame Stadium in Jalingo, Taraba state for a peace concert sponsored by the state government of which he was one of the organisers.
It was reported that there was a disagreement over sharing of the N250m released by the government for the event. When he came back to his hotel room later, he was killed by men who are yet to be identified.
A fan said “Unfortunately, killing people for money related reasons is now a norm. Smh! My consolation is that the day of reckoning will surely come.”
His family in Benue State have refused to receive his corpse until they are given a proper explanation as to what happened to their son.
