Yemi Alade speaks on how she avoids controversies
Popular singer, Yemi Alade, has opened up on how she avoids the drama that comes with Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
According to the singer, she stays away from negative opinions shared about her by random people.
Speaking on the sideline of her new album, ‘Rebel Queen’ listening party in Lagos recently, Alade explained that she handles negative criticisms by simply ignoring them.
She said, “I don’t think about it [negative criticisms] too much. I’m just living my life because it’s only one life I have.
“Once I see or hear anything that doesn’t resonate with me I look the other way and I keep it moving. Because everybody is entitled to their opinions.”
