A 24-year-old Muslim man identified as Mubeen Rajhu reportedly shot his sister to death for marrying a Christian.
Rahhu who is from Lahore Pakistan shot his 18-years-old sister in the head for going against his will.
According to the accused during his confession said, “I told her I would have no face to show at the mill, to show to my neighbors, so don’t do it. Don’t do it. But she wouldn’t listen.
I could not let it go. It was all I could think about. I had to kill her. There was no choice. There was no yelling, no shouting. I just shot her dead.”
Speaking about the incident was the father of the decease, Mohammed Naseer Rajhu who described the killing of her daughter as an
“honor killing” adding that the girl has ruined the family by bringing shame to them.
“My family is destroyed. Everything is destroyed only because of this shameful girl. Even after death I am destroyed because of her”, he said.
The murderer is cooling his heels in police custody.
