Start Boy Worldwide Records is the next thing that is going to happen in the music industry. With the rise and rise of Wizkid, we are not surprised that his records is also on the rise. Guess who he has signed on board?
During the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Wizkid announced that he has signed three Ghanaian musicians on his record label. The event happened on May 7.
He had introduced Nigerian-born Ghanaian-based musician, Mr. Eazi as his new artiste on the record label during his performance and later announced that Tema-based music group, R2bees and Ghanaian neo soul vocalist, songwriter, performer and actress, Jane Fara Fauzzier Afia Boafowaa Yahaya Awindoraka Efya are also those he recently signed to his records.
We have seen R2Bees and Efya collaborated with Wizkid on a number of records, this just shows how far friendship can take people to. Wizkid also won the African Artiste of the Year, beating his counterparts in the continent.
He said “I want to say a big thank you to my fans, you guys made it,” the singer said and then extended shout-outs to his producer Legendury Beatz, who he credited with making the smash hit single, ‘Ojuelegba.’ Nice one Wizkid.
