Popular Nigeria artist, Wizkid has just lost his in-law, Seun Rowland Awoniyi to cancer.

His elder sister Yetunde Balogun who was formerly in Nigeria with her two kids before relocating to the United States lost her husband, Seun Rowland Awoniyi at an US Hospital on Sunday October 9.

The decease was said to have been battling with cancer for months. Few minutes before his demise, his wife wrote in her display picture requesting people to pray for the husband but afterwards she revealed that finally Seun has gone to rest.

A reliable source said, ‘Seun has been down with cancer for a while. 

It’s really sad that he’s dead now, he was a real great guy.’

Seun who graduated from the department of Geology from University of Ibadan took to his social media handle and shared his photos when he was in the hospital bed, ‘I always Thank God for the gift of life, when I look back. Still living… Oluwaseun”

Little did he know that death was just by the corner? May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
