Will Nollywood industry start the new year with sad news? It is very painful to announce the death of a veteran actress , Toyin Majekodunmi , known professionally as Iya Kike who passed on, on Monday.
A reliable source revealed that the thespian was electrocuted in her resident in the wee hours of December 2nd.But died on January 2nd 2017.
The decease has been married to a fellow actor Solomon Majekodunmi, otherwise known as, Baba Kekere for f 37 years and was blessed with three children.
The late Mrs. Majekodunmi featured in numerous Yoruba movies and often starred alongside her husband. Prior to launching her movie career, she worked with the Lagos State Ministry of Information for many years. Her husband also worked in International Banking Division Department at First Bank Plc.
We hope and pray that there will be no more death in the industry this 2017.
