Why women should also propose to their fiance – Yul Edochie
Popular actor turned cleric, Yul Edochie, has advised single ladies to do away from the general belief that women are not supposed to propose to their men.
The actor, who made this known on his Instagram page, encouraged women to pop the question if their partner is taking too long to propose.
Edochie, who sees proposing as gender neutral, suggested that ladies should buy a ring and propose to their partner, emphasising that there’s nothing wrong with a lady making the first move.
He stressed that the important thing is to clarify the relationship’s direction, reminding them that time waits for no one.
“Ladies, if you’re waiting for your man to propose and he’s delaying, buy a ring and propose to him. There’s nothing wrong with it. It doesn’t matter who says the words. Propose. Know where you stand with him. Time waits for no one.”
