Nollywood star Bimbo Akintola has opened up about her decision to remain unmarried despite societal pressures.

The 54-year-old movie star disclosed that she is unmarried because her soul mate died.

In a recent interview, the host asked, “Are you married?”

Akintola: “No.”

Host: “Why?”

Akintola: “He died…The person wey me fit do forever for don die.”

Host: “So, you don’t think you can find another man?”

Akintola: “Do you know how long it took me to find him?”

She said she won’t allowed herself to be pressured into getting married just to please people.

She, however, clarified that she believes in the concept of marriage but hasn’t found the right man to settle with since losing her soul mate.
