Nollywood actress, Nancy Isime, has disassociated herself from the tag, ‘Jesus baddie’, which is often used to describe young Christians who are stylish.

In a post she made on her Instagram page, the actress said despite her imperfections, she has peace with Jesus and her identity as a Christian is by birth and choice.

She clarified that while she embraces Christianity wholeheartedly, she respects others’ paths to spirituality and does not endorse labels like “Jesus Baby” or “Jesus Baddie.”

Her words, “P.S: I am NOT a Jesus Baby, Jesus Baddie or
whatever labels comes with identifying with Christ in recent times.

“l am a Child of God and a Christian by birth and by Choice. Far from perfect but I’ve found my peace with Jesus.”

She added that despite her faith in the Christian God, she has to reason to discriminate against who believe in other religions and God.

“I however do not discriminate against people who communicate with God through other religions.

“It is not my place to judge. If I’m Christian, it means I’m Christ like and Christ never discriminated, judged, labeled, he wasn’t even religious.

“He was accessible to all and his message was Love, Goodness and Salvation. This is what I stand for. My relationship with God is personal and not for Man’s understanding and acceptance,” the thespian added.
