After a rave outing at the 2012 MTN TV Reality show Project Fame, show favourite and eventual 2nd Place winner, Marvellous Odiete, simply Marvelous in the show, has inexplicably vanished from the spotlight.

Besides his February 14 wedding to heartthrob, Joy Ilibeno, in 2013, we have not heard anything ‘projecting the fame’ the MTN platform offers.

So good was his outing at the show that there was widespread disaffection over his failure to emerge 1st place winner during the 2012 edition. Even though Ayobami Ayoola was declared winner by ‘the voting system’, Marvelous was the people’s winner given his electrifying, soul-stirring and powerful R&B renditions. Many believed he would prove the show wrong by taking his rightful place in the industry.

Alas!, it was not to be. Marvelous hung around for a while, got married to his heartthrob and switched to quiet mode.

Today alongside his wife, he runs a company called Blueprint Pictures which is into movie distribution and general entertainment such as digital recording, artiste management and promotion. Based on what he shares on his social media space, it’s clear the sensational singer hasn’t done bad for himself.
