This morning, Rapper Wale is fighting hard to convince people including Nigerians that he is not gay. The drama began when American blogs IOB and Fameolous published the direct message and picture gotten from an unknown male who claimed his cousin dated Wale.

The person in the picture was Wale’s lookalike, who was  seen asleep in bed with the unknown male. Wale is seriously denying it.  “Y’all wild for even thinking that’s me. I’m literally in shock of how naive and gullible niggas are,” he said. “This music industry will take your soul then make you want [to] leave,” he wrote. “Let me air out some people, it’ll make headlines,” he continued, adding, “Let me uplift some people it’ll get buried quicker than u can say ‘leanmollyxan.”

This is not the first time that Wale is fighting online to defend himself. He is even frustrated with the industry.

Now, fans are defending Wale “This could be a staged picture for blackmail and extortion“, one fan said, and another out-rightly dismissed the photo as photoshoped.
