The non governmental organization that has been promoting the family in various capacities had their annual event tagged Love Tangle last Sunday and to say the event was impressive is an understatement as notable personalities from all walks of life thronged the place in droves. The family oriented programme which Vivienne Turner Ogboru and her formidable team put together at the Air Force Officers’ Mess, Kofo Abayomi was not only poised to promote family values but became an evening of fun under a roof where the family teemed to mingle and unwind with other families across the states. The unique moment of fun, glitz and glamour which had the upcoming comic act, Headmasta as compere ended reuniting family who honoured the invitation.
Hon. Chief Turner Ogboru, hubby to the woman of essence who sits atop Nest Family TV, Vivienne, didn’t just register his presence but was all over the place supporting his indefatigable wife whose Nest organization has become a platform for promoting the family.
Nest, from its inception, has been making public statements that emphasize the importance of mutuality in the family and prohibit child marriage and raise minimum level of legal age at marriage to mention but a few of the tasks the organization is carrying out solely. Chief Oru, a renowned politician in Delta State, Great Ogboru, Thelma Nwosu to mention but a few made the event memorable.
