If any music fan in Nigeria would think of the best record label in the country, then if YBNL don’t come first or second, then definitely it’s going to be the third. YBNL under the management of Olamide badoo, a foremost artiste in Nigeria gives all his best to the record label in making it stand out amidst peers.
The signees of YBNL are one of the best in the music phase with lots of awards and recognition they’ve earned through the effort of their boss, Olamide who is known to be after the success of his brothers as he called them.
Lil Kesh who broke out with his hit track “Shoki” has been one of the most promising acts in the country, even though he was denied the next rated award in the last headies, many people still think he deserves it, but losing it didn’t discourage Kesh to keep giving fans hit tracks that would move him further in the game.
Another act in the YBNL label who broke to stardom in short time is Adekunle Gold, the singer crooner is sure a hit maker and ever since he started he has been at the top of his best with continuous award winning songs that gives him extra fans day by day.
However, a certain rapper, Viktoh who was signed along Lilkesh is at the dying stage of his career as his songs are making little or no wave in the industry. Although it is a clear statement that failure is not always a mistake, it may simply be the best one can do under the circumstances. The real mistake is to stop trying. Viktoh without mincing word is having a failed career.
While some people will say Viktoh is the reason behind his own circumstances, but we should all agree Olamide gives not the desired attention to this young guy, The hypes he gives Kesh and Gold are incomparable while the one Viktoh receives is nothing to write home about. You can imagine the type of awareness Olamide gaave the newest signed songstress “Temmy Ovwassa”, even before unveiling her to the world, she’s already got thousands of fans.
The urge to rise to fame is the priority of all musicians worldwide, but what do you think Viktoh can do to hit the stardom in the industry as people that came after him are getting popular more than him.
Should he keep struggling and work hard, Or Olamide should give more attention to the young Edo guy? Or would you rather suggest he leaves YBNL? Let’s have your opinion in the comments section!
