The Super Falcons have reportedly threatened to protest over non-payment of allowances following their triumph at the African Women Cup of Nations in Cameroun.
Players and officials of the Super Falcons arrived Nigeria last Sunday morning after a victorious encounter in Yaounde and was hosted to a brief reception organised by Emzor Pharmaceuticals.
However, recent reports have it that the players are left devastated by the non-payment of their emolument which includes winning bonuses, camp allowances and nine months salary for the coaches.
Although, NFF President Amaju Pinnick had earlier told newsmen that the federation is currently cash-strapped but promised to ‘to put smiles on their faces because they really made the country proud’.
The Nigeria football set-up has constantly been involved in cash issues which has sparked controversies with different national teams of the country.
