VDM is fighting corruption, Phyna backs social media activist
A reality star, Ijeoma Otabor, better known as Phyna has thrown her weight behind social media activist, Martins Otse, aka VDM over his recent clash with crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky.
The Phyna is friends with Bobrisky, the Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ winner noted that what VDM is doing at the moment is bigger than her friendship with Bobrisky.
A fan had told the actress not to involve herself in the fight between VDM and Bobrisky, remembering Phyna how she celebrated the crossdresser days back.
“When you have two friends who are having issues, you should be calm or don’t have a point! You just celebrated Bob my darling, don’t make this look like you were a hypocrite. Sometimes it is good to just don’t say anything,” the fan wrote.
Replying to the fan, Phyna made it clear that it isn’t about Bobrisky or VDM, but about fighting corruption and making the country a better place. Phyna stated that she stands against corruption and oppression and has the right to talk about whatever is going on, just like others.
“It’s not about Bob or VDM. It’s about fighting corruption and making the country a better place. I stand against corruption and oppression. And I have the right to talk on whatever that is going on just like every other Nigerians”.
In the wake of his saga with Falz, Bobrisky, and EFCC, Phyna, via the micro-blogging platform Twitter, now known as X, nominated him to contest as President of the Youth Democratic Party (YDP). She stated that she will boldly and proudly stand by him as she believes a better Nigeria will come through him.
