Legendary Fuji singer, Adewale Ayuba, has joined hosts of other entertainers to pay tribute to late singer and music producer, OJB Jezreel, who passed away some days back.
Ayuba, while describing the bunch of talent OJB was, recalled the popular music track which trended in the late 90s ‘Raise the roof’ by Jazzman Olofin featuring Ayuba, as one of the works which will forever remain in his heart.
Short of words, Ayuba used the avenue to pray that God preserves the lives of the few entertainers that are still alive until the right age rather than having early tears in the family.
“I feel so bad that we lost you my brother, my heart breaks in pieces, I feel sad that death had snatched you away from us although I hope and pray that you’re resting in the arms of the Lord. I am still shocked. I have worked with your great talent and I know that you were manifesting so much greatness, you produced ‘Raise the roof’ for the young folks then and all the memories are still fresh in my mind and resigning to the fact that you’re gone is had to accept, heartbreaking and unbelievable. I pray that God would comfort your family and loved ones. Rest in Peace My friend Babatunde Okungbowa. I pray for good health for the rest of us left behind, God have mercy,” Ayuba said.
