Triple MG boss, Ubi Franklin, has written a touching tribute to his late father, who died about 11 years ago.

Ubi lost his father to the cold hands of death when he was 18, but went on with his life to become somebody today. He explained that his late dad was a judge.

“It’s been difficult putting up this post. It’s 11 years today since when I tried to call your office phone and your PA said you didn’t come to court that day and the lawyers had been waiting for the court proceedings to start.

“Knowing the kind of man you are, I was very uncomfortable with the reason your PA gave me. I called my brothers, they said you have been good, but I didn’t know you had left me already.

“I was just 18 at the time and now 11 years later, I wish you could just see how far I have come and haven’t even gotten to where I want to be. Today reminds me how I sat undeciphered to mull over a mentor’s legacy. Virtual-silence is golden on this remembrance than silver-speech. RIP dad,” he wrote.
