The Nigerian movie industry fondly called Nollywood has undoubtedly brought more blessings to the country than politicians or her leaders. From those who view Nigeria politically, the country is ruled by highly corrupt individuals, while those seeing the country from the behavioral angle see Nigerians as scammers.
But despite all these, Nollywood again brought glory to Nigeria when a film by a veteran filmmaker, Tunde Kelani, ‘Dazzling Mirage’ won at the l’Arlequin Theatre in Paris, France.
At the just concluded Nollywood Week in France, Kelani’s film won the Prix du Public award.
One of the major casts in the movie, Lala Akindoju received the award alongside the director and producer, Tunde Kelani.
‘Dazzling Mirage’ stars Kunle Afolayan, Lala Akindoju, Bimbo Manuel, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Taiwo Ajai Lycett and Seun Akindele.
