Ibrahim Omilade, son of a traditional ruler in Mafoluku, Oshodi, Lagos State, was on Tuesday sentenced to death by hanging by an Ikeja High Court for murder.
Omilade was sentenced to death by hanging alongside two others, Shola and Kayode Oni, who are brothers.
Justice Kudirat Jose sentenced the trio having found them guilty of killing one Suleiman Afolabi, during a fight on a Christmas day in 2012 at Oshodi.
The convicts hacked Suleiman to death with a machete.
“I pronounce the defendants guilty in respect of the charge of murder and conspiracy shall be sentenced to death, hanged by the neck until their death,” Justice Jose said in her ruling.
