The Senior Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State, Bob Manuel Udokwu and actress, Clarion Chukwurah, led top entertainment personalities of Anambra origin to the burial of the late musician, who died in Lagos. It was reported that the deceased died of diabetes in February 2014.

The entertainers, under the aegis of Association of Anambra State Entertainment Practitioners (AASEP) gathered in Nsugbe, Anambra State, to pay their last respect to the acclaimed King of Ekpiri music.

The Nsugbe community also received other entertainers including Yul Edochie, Chigozie Atuanya, Rita Edochie, Ebele Okaro, Obi Madubuogwu, Ifeanyi Ikpoenyi (President, AASEP), Tai Emeka Obasi, Stanley Chira, Ifeanyi Anazodo, Emeka Morgan and Sylvester Madu.

It would be recalled that the late highlife artiste, also known as Ayaka, was signed on to Morgan Entertainment, the same label that signed late Igbo rapper, MC Loph, who died in a car accident few years ago.
