Nigerian Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has been spotted at the Suleja Prisons in Niger State spending time with the inmates of the prison in other to make them happy.King Tonto had visited the prison under the umbrella of Tonto Dike Foundation where she donated relief materials, including money to inmates.

The actress told NAN that the foundation, which is her humanitarian initiative, empowers and provides succor to the less privileged and vulnerable Nigerians.

In her words;

“In line with our vision, I have come here to let the inmates know that we are not giving up on them and that they have a bright future ahead outside of this place. Whatever happens, they are still Nigerians, and needed to know that today is our Democracy day, and being made happy. They still have a lot to contribute to the society irrespective of their present circumstances.” She said.

She shared the photos of her visit to the prison on her instagram page and reported to her supporters that; “We are glad to announce the fulfillment of our pledge to give 300k Naira in cash and over a million naira worth of donations to the Women and men of Suleja Prison. This includes goods such as two plasma TVs, ceiling fans, 2 Strong decoder, workshop equipment’s re wiring of their workshop and many more. We would like to say a big Thank you to the prison association and everyone involved for letting us come and make an impact in our own little way.”
