Tonto Dikeh reveals she’s glad she ended her marriage to Churchill

Movie star, Tonto Dikeh, has said that ending her marriage to her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill was the best decision she made for herself and her son.

The actress said this on Sunday while responding to one of her followers, a single mother, who sought advice from her.

The single mother questioned Dikeh on how she coped when her ex-husband left her and their child.

She asked, “Good morning, ma. Please, ma, I have a question. How were you able to cope when your ex-husband left you with your child?

“If there’s any advice, I’m ready to learn. I am a nobody aiming to be somebody soon.”

Correcting the lady, the actress said she left the marriage to prioritise her child’s wellbeing.

She responded, “First of all, I was the one who chose to walk away from my marriage, not the other way around. I needed to leave a difficult situation—not just for my sake, but for my child as well.

“It was the best decision I ever made.
Remember, you have the power to become the person you aspire to be, as long as you commit to your growth and invest in yourself.

“Prioritise your children’s well-being while seeking guidance and strength from God. Sometimes, the end of one road is the beginning of your blessings. But if your marriage is worth saving, fight for your home. Take care.”

Tonto also admitted that there’s no rulebook for motherhood and that she isn’t an expert.
