Following the letter issued to controversial media personality , Toke Makinwa by her estranged husband,Maje to retracts the defamatory words contained in her book “On Becoming “ and to tender an unreserved apology in several national dailies, Maje has filled a legal suit against her.

He is requesting the sum of N100m in damages in the suit which was filed February 7 through his lawyers Kemi Pinheiro (SAN) of Pinheiro LP.

He prayed the court to give the N100m damages to four charity bodies which he will personally recommend.

The TV personality, Toke Makinwa alongside the publishers of the memoir, Kachifo Limited was both sued.

Despite the warning for retraction , Toke has dared Maje by embarking on tours and following other mediums to promote her book.
