Toke Makinwa has learnt in the hard that it is not every crowd that is your own when it comes to advise. Toke who currently touring the U.S. on her book tour in the U.S revealed that she suffered cramps and to deal with the pain, she self-medicated.
It was Advil PM which was supposed to be taken at night and the product specification revealed it may cause severe allergic reactions which include hives, facial swelling and more.
Toke wanted to advise others to avoid her mistake but it backfired “Mother nature decided to show up and I thought I was taking painkillers and I thought I would take this to sort out the camping, after I swallowed it, I just decided to read through [warnings],” she said.
“Jesus, I am already feeling dizzy,” Makinwa said in the video, visibly worried, and she noted that she had events to attend that same day.
