Nigerian artiste Banky W has said his last prayer which he believes will take him into the new year 2022.
Singer, rapper, actor, Entrepreneur and politician, Olubankole Wellington, popularly known by his stage name Banky W, has said his last prayer which he believes will take him into the new year 2022.
This, the 40 years old husband of Adesua Etomi, did in another gospel and beautiful record titled “My Destiny” recorded by Banky W featuring Brookstone and The Lagos Community Gospel Choir.
It’s taken from his new body of work Extended Play called “The Bank Statements”
which is a follow up after “R&BW” released in 2013.
Banky W is a Nigerian R&B singer who also utilises the gospel genre.
Known for motivational speaking, he recently debunked the rumour of being a pastor but said he is just a child of God in progress.
He also said: “I can share from the experiences I have had, from the lessons that I am learning and from what God is teaching me. If I can help young people kind of draw closer to God and make it through this difficult time and have the kind of backbone that you need and the kind of strategies that you need for success and just the wisdom that I have been fortunate enough to be blessed with, that’s okay.”
Still talking about his new work on Thursday on the social media, he asked these four probing questions:
Have you streamed “My Destiny” yet? What about the whole “The Bank Statements” EP? What did you think? Or what are you waiting for?
The music album is produced by Cobhams Asuquo.
