Nigerian Dancehall singer Timaya aka Ekperipapa 1 of Bayelsa has for sometimes now been away from getting into the news but that duration has just elapse.

Timaya got a weird reaction from many Nigerian over his pair of designer’s footwear he wore.

The Dem Mama Singer shared a photo of himself wearing a Givenchy designer slipper and fans were all over him saying it was a rubber slippers.

The artiste in the comment section on his Instagram page was fast to point out to the fan that it was more than slippers because it was made by popular designer’s company Givenchy.

A fan who took a jibe at him asked “Excuse me guys, this rubber thing that Baba wore on his feet, were they included in the multimillion naira video budget too?”

Replying to this Timaya said; “those are Givenchy, check them out” Timaya retorted.

Some fans were not concerned about the brand or how much he bought it; they told him that rubber is rubber.
