There’s competition in Nigeria’s comedy industry but I have none – Josh2funny
Ace comedian, Chibuike Josh Alfred, popularly known as Josh2Funny, has acknowledged that the Nigerian comedy industry is filled with competition.
He said those claiming that there’s no competition in the content-creating industry are only sugar-coating.
Josh2Funny, however, said he has no competition in comedy industry, stressing that his skits are interpreted in foreign languages in Europe and Asia.
He also frowned at the actions of some of his colleagues who copy his trends and styles without crediting him.
In a recent interview, he said, “What I won’t take is for people to be copying what I initiated without crediting me. No, I won’t take that.
“Let nobody tell you that there’s no competition in the comedy industry. There’s competition.
“As we speak now, my comedy is interpreted in Madarin, Hindi, Russian, French, and other languages. I’m not with you guys, bro. I’m not anybody’s mate in this comedy industry.”
