Ubi Franklin, the man at Made Men Music Group (MMMG) is afflicted with multiple crisis, information revealed this development is greatly limiting the operations of the company.
Findings revealed that shortly after the highly revered music promoter parted ways with former business partner, Iyanya due to unforeseen circumstances, we learnt he has never been his old self.
Few weeks back, Ubi sold 50 percent of his company shares to Paul Okoye of the pop group P-Square.
In the midst of the whole brouhaha, we learnt the only commercially acclaimed artiste presently on his label, Tekno plans quitting the label once his contract expires. We learnt the ‘Pana’ crooner is not willing to renew his contract with the label due to the controversy trailing the music executive.
This has been a major concern for Ubi and he’s been through many sleepless nights.
Further digs revealed that the business turbulence is taking its toll on his marriage to actress, Lilian Esoro as well.
Sources disclosed that Lilian abandoned home few months back over what she labeled ‘Life threatening Behaviour’ of her husband, Ubi.
It is not clear at present what the actress meant by this appellation of her husband’s conduct.
Efforts to make her return home to her husband are said to be meeting stiff opposition from the Clinic Matters sitcom actress.
It is however instructive to note that their celebrated bust up of not too long ago was a result of wife battering allegations against Ubi Franklin. He was said to have beaten up his wife to a state of grave injury over what was later confirmed suspicion of infidelity.
The action had resulted in Lilian moving out of her matrimonial home and a breakup of the marriage.
Friends and associates are gradually keeping Ubi at arm length in order not to be drawn into his present predicament.
Information revealed the embattled music promoter is still at hard work attempting to douse the fires of adversities in his home and engulfing his business empire.
How he wriggles out of the present mess remains to be seen- though those conversant with his ways claim he still possess enough clout and influence to make his problems go away in a matter of time, irrespective of public stance by some of his friends and associates of keeping their stance from him.
