Love to see that my childhood heartthrob RMD has still got it and is packing the halls with his awesome performance (sorry, Denzel!) That man can do no wrong in my book.

Okay, so I’ve just seen the trailer for Funmi Holder’s new film ‘The Grudge’ and I must say I am looking forward to watching it, if not for anything but just to see RMD again (hehehe!) And ofcourse Ireti Doyle!

I am happy about the film for many reasons. I see that Funmi after many years in the industry has finally been able to produce her own film; a massive feat I must say. I also see that she has added popular Yoruba actor Odunlade Adekola in the mix and that is great. He is crossing over in the English speaking part of the industry.

Then gosh… what is a movie without Ireti Doyle as the classy, suburban matriarch,  dripping sarcasm and class? I love how the older ones (actors) are holding their own and are refusing to be relegated to the background by newer faces and tighter bodies. Then there is  RMD…. Okay, I am gushing! I know. Let me leave you to enjoy the trailer! Congrats Funmi!
