Star-actress Susan Peters faced off stiff competition to win Best Supporting Actress at this year’s edition of the prestigious NAFCA Awards, which held last Saturday in North Carolina, USA.

Susan eliminated her competitors including Ini Edo, Nadia Buari and Roseline Ngissah in the nomination poll to win the coveted prize. She stars as troublesome “Ibiere”in the movie “Burst Out”produced by Emem Isong that got her recognised at the NAFCA.

The film was directed by Desmond Elliot, and featured other actresses such as Genevieve Nnaji, Nse Ikpe Etim, Majid Michel amongst others.

Other winners at the glamorous event were Majid Michel, Nse Ikpe Etim and John Dumelo, who scooped trophies for Best Actor in a leading role, Best actress in a leading role and Best Actor in a supporting role respectively.

Surprisingly, Susan ’s award acceptance speech was a very emotional one as she thanked her fans for all their support and propelling her career to this point. For her big moment, she however chose a white embellished illusion mini dress paired with thighs and gold pumps.
