One name that is presently on the lips of ardent followers of Nollywood, especially in the Yoruba film sector is Mercy Ajoke Ebosele.

Apart from her acting prowess, Mercy is very beautiful and hardworking, which has made her a darling to her numerous fans. In all the flicks she has acted in, the Edo State-born script-interpreter has done justice to her roles.

Nigeriafilms.com has learnt that the actress’ newest work entitled ‘Ibusun (Bedstead)’, is due for release on Monday, July 13, 2015 under the stable of award-winning marketer, Epsalum Productions, who is well known for selling blockbusters.

Mercy starred top actors in ‘Ibusun’ like Adebayo Tijani, Muyiwa Ademola, Wale Akorede, Afonja Olaniyi, Lola Alao, Aishat Abimbola, Afeez Eniola, Iyabo Ogunsola, Toyosi Adesanya, Toyin Adegbola, Liz Da-Silva, Aishat Lawal and more.

‘Ibusun’ centres on the life of a man who refused to send his children to school, but gave out his daughter’s hand in marriage to his creditor who already had three wives.

At the end of the day, his daughter contracted the deadly HIV/AIDS virus and was sent back to him by her husband.

The flick, a tragic-comedy, was shot with the state of the art equipment.

Mercy started her acting career in 2003 after completing her degree programme in Theatre Arts from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Oyo State. She later joined Muyiwa Ademola group to sharpen her acting skills. She has featured in some English movies and Yoruba flicks as well.

Some of the films Mercy has acted in include ‘Ola Adura’, ‘Igbeyawo Oku’, ‘Aso Were’, ‘Madaju’, ‘Eyinju Eledumare’, ‘Atiba’, ‘Ini Oluwa’, ‘Alacada’, ‘Wosi Kenke’, ‘Alasela’, ‘Dodo’, ‘Tasere’, ‘Iyawo Osun’, ‘Ashewo Airport’, ‘Ife Inu’ and several other too numerous to mention.

The light-skinned movie star, who is in her 30s, has produced movies like ‘Imisi Esu’, ‘Febisola’ and ‘Soko Soko’.
