Stop pressuring your children into marriage, Denola Grey advises older generation
Nigerian actor, Denola Grey, has advised the older generation to stop pressuring their children into marriages, likening it to slavery.
According to the media personality, who berated African parents for the act, most marriages are based on ‘slavery’ and many of them are unhappy in their marital lives.
He further said he won’t settle down with a partner he tolerates, but added that he will have to love a partner for him to settle down.
‘’When will you marry? When will you fix your marriage? How about that? I don’t know why they are so obsessed with marriage because a lot of them are not in happy marriages, especially like the older generation.
“I’m like so you want me to just meet someone, marry them and just be managing them. Like, I hate slavery,” he added.
