Sarkodie has made it clear that he doesn’t  necessarily have to be featured on a song by an up and coming artiste in order to motivate them. He said that it is wrong for young artists to claim that they do not receive any form of support from older and more successful artists.

“It is a spoilt mentality to say they are not mentoring us; you don’t say that nobody is supposed to. Somebody could just keep winning to help you. If I look at Daddy Lumba still getting paid certain amounts to perform, he doesn’t have to mentor me. I am just looking at him and getting me inspired, and I want to work,” he said.

He was asked how he intended to let his fans know that he and M.anifest didn’t have any issues going on looking at the fact that the fans still do believe there is a gripe. He responded by saying that he couldn’t control how people felt about issues because people sometimes feel excited about bad news than good news. He felt it was up to him to make sure there was nothing negative going on.
