Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, who performs under the acronym Skales, he is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter. In 2000, he started writing rap songs in Kaduna. Between 2007 and 2008, he travelled to Jos to work with Jesse Jagz and Jeremiah Gyang.
Skales Revealed That the one person that always encourage him and believed in him amongst many Nigerian Artiste or his musical colleagues is Praiz.
Praiz believed in me and supported me even when I had nothing. Skales issued that as at the time he wanted to produce his first song, praiz help out and charged him a token of just N4000 as cost of production.
Skales revealed this during his performance at the just concluded ‘Praiz live in Unilag’ concert. The concert featured artiste such as Praiz, Skales, Ajebutter22, IllBliss, Shaydee, BOJ and many others.
The concert which was sponsored by MTN Music Plus saw students and other young fans go home with exciting gifts like mobile phones, laptops, steam irons, electric kettles and even an acoustic guitar.
