The coals of fire that has been literary set on the head of Skales after he was accused of duping Baseline Records N13million can now die.
Skales who was reported before the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2, in Onikan, Lagos has found a way to resolve the crisis.
A manager called Justin reportedly announced that Skales and Baseline are currently working out a resolution , ‘I can’t talk much about it now. I will let you know when he (Skales) wants to talk about it.But everything is under control now’.
However, Justin refused to give account of where Skales and his manager are right now after spending a night in detention some days ago. Skales and his manager were accused of short-changing and misappropriating fees that ran up to N13 million over a year. Also, there was a California deal that they refused to disclose to the label.
It has been alleged that skales and Baseline stopped business since 2015. A source said “Baseline refused to pick calls and also answer emails since 2015 May, do you expect the young man’s career to be stagnant?”
It was said that Skales decided to move on with his career and has purportedly been self-financing his projects for about a year.
