Afrobeat singer, Simi has advised her fans to stop idolising people just because they are wealthy.

The singer noted that idolising individuals who are wicked or unethical because of material possession is not healthy for people.

She emphasised the importance of values and character over material wealth, encouraging her followers to prioritise integrity and kindness above financial success.

She wrote on X, “Don’t idolise wicked people because they have more money than you”.
