Early this month, the news of one Chidinma Udensi, went viral, after her niece, Irene Abott, made a plea via social media to Nigerians to save her aunt from her abusive husband, Chief Chikwendu Udensi,
He is the former ALGON national chairman and former PPA gubernatorial candidate for Abia state 2015 elections.
It was gathered that the woman was physically abused by her husband after she asked for a divorce. A day later, same niece shared a video of Mrs Udensi with a battered face and said she gave her niece permission to release the video online as she was too tired to talk at the time.
But in a new court paper, Chidinma has said, under oath, that her marriage is peaceful and it is devoid of any form of violence. She also said she didn’t authorize anyone to fight for her.
