The rate of kidnapping and ritual killing have drastically increased following the recession in the country. One Tosin Oluwatosin was apprehended with human head in Ifaki, the notorious Ido/Osi area of Ekiti State.
Tosin along with his brother were nabbed by homicide detectives at the state police headquarters who has put them under questioning to explain what they did to their 12 years old victim.
According to police spokesman Alberto Adeyemi, the suspect, Tosin was arrested around 3:35pm.
“Yes, it is true. One of the suspects is on the run. The victim is about 12-year-old and we are still looking for the body
“We are also on the brother’s trail. After investigation, the suspects will be charged to court,” he said.
The police has promised to carry out strict investigation to know if the suspects and his brother were responsible for the recent spate of beheading in some areas in the state.
