Not a few fans at the Tribute Night for late actress, Moji Christiana Raimat Olaiya were shocked to know the veteran Highlife musician, Sir Victor Olaiya is not her biological father.
The program of the event revealed the late favourite actress was born February 27, 1975, by her father, Joshua Bodunde Olaiya and her mother, Abosede Wuzamot Olaiya. She also had a brother, Femi Olaiya and three half-siblings namely, Dayo Olaiya, Funmi Olaiya and Remi Olaiya.
At a tender age, Moji lost her dad and her uncle, veteran Highlife musician, Sir Victor Olaiya stepped in as a father figure.

Moji who cut her acting teeth in the movie, Owo Ale, a Bukky Wright first produced film in Nollywood for Ola Ibironke’s Dudu
Heritage Films in 2001 starred Bukky Wright, Lola Alao, Bimbo Oshin, Binta Ayo Mogaji, Foluke Daramola and the late actor, Olumide Bakare.
Moji played a University Campus girl in the movie directed by Yemi Amodu. She was originally a Make-Up Artist on the set before she was conscripted to play the role.
Her role as Ireti in Wale Adenuga’s Super Story shot her to prominence and made her a household name.

Moji Olaiya passed on May 17, 2017, in Canada barely two months after she had her second child, Maryam. Her first child, 18 years old daughter in her touching tribute wrote: “…The world would never forget you, Mother.
Rest in Peace.”
