Recently, the media was awash with news of the appointment of actress Shirley Igwe as principal protocol officer by the Imo state Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha. She was spotted at an event with the governor particularly from female folks was alarming. An eyewitness who spoke in anonymity, told us that the actress almost pushed her down as she aggressively fought off all efforts by women, even those by the governor. In fact, the bodyguards of the governor didn’t need to do any job as Shirley had taken over their jobs and was pushing and shoving off all efforts made by people to reach or speak to the governor, particularly the ladies.
