Media personality, Toke Makinwa, has gone down memory lane, recounting how her mother, on a particular occasion stormed her school to deal with her over her teacher’s report card comment.
Toke Makinwa said that her teacher had remarked that although she was smart, she could be a better student if she was a bit more attentive and less of a talkative.
She recounted in her recent YouTube Vlog which she did on parenting, “I can’t breathe. My mother A.K.A the chief disgracer embarrassed me in front of the classroom because my then teacher Uncle Mensah left a comment in my report card that said ‘I talk too much in class.’ I actually remember the comment being “Toke is a smart child, she can do better if she listens more and talked less in the classroom“. When I say my mother was gangster, she came to school the next day, stood in front of my class before everyone and flogged me.
Kids these days have it easy ??”
Her claims were corroborated by a former classmate, who apparently remembered the teacher that caused her grief.
