We may not have super actors like Jackie Chan who can do a lot of stunts in Africa, sustain injuries , get treated and get back on set as if nothing happened.
We have heard a lot of stories of tragic events on sets and sometimes, death in Nollywood but in Kumawood, Lilwin is an example of those who escaped death on set over a dangerous role. He is thankful to God.
Currently, Lilwin is still using wheelchair for the past five months after an incident. He was to jump from a roof as an armed robber but ended up hanging in the air when his leg got entangled by a rope. “But for the timely intervention of other actors on set who rushed me to the hospital, I don’t think I would have been alive by now. What happened was really serious and I thank God for my life” he said.
His injury has not stopped him from shooting movie“Any movie you will see Lilwin in it in a wheel chair is real. I have shot movies in the wheelchair and I am glad producers love how I acted,” he said. “I don’t joke with my fans at all because they made me who I am today and I will forever remain grateful to them. I might not be well but I hope to recover soon and give Ghanaians the best of me,” he added.
