Basketmouth is always grateful to those who supported him during his days of little beginning. There was a time he tried his hands on music and during a show at his university but he was mocked by a student.
It was at that moment that he found his true callings. And that was how he found his calling.
In 2000, a lady called Irene Nwoko helped him and he has this to tell us. “So I bumped into Irene Nwoko, the lady that paid me N800 to perform at their engineering dinner back then in Uniben…This was in 2000.Thank you for believing in my brand Irene”
