Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu, is currently not in her right frame of mind after she has come out publicly to solicit for funds to save one Mayowa Ahmed, who is currently down with Ovarian Cancer at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital.

The actress attention was called to the sick lady and Toyin from her soft heart decided to use her status on social media to solicit for funds for her operation but never knew she was helping scammers get a good loot of about $100,000 which was what was said is needed for the operation.

Toyin who later found out that the whole thing was a scam weep bitterly that her name has been dragged into the mud as she had to engage the service of Police detectives to go arrest the alleged family fraudsters who are behind the whole scam.

According to reports the whole scam was revealed after it was discovered that Mayowa’s Cancer had gotten to a stage where it cannot be cured as she only has to wait until she hears the call from her creator to come home.

Toyin is still wondering what she has gotten herself involved with as she wonders how she will be able to trust people especially those in genuine need of help. So far, she has been silent on the matter since discovering it was a scam.
