Crossover actor, Saheed Balogun, has returned to the country from his trip to the United States of America.
He returned last Thursday night aboard a Qatar Airline and was given a warm welcome by few colleagues and friends who waited for his arrival at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport.
Sources close to him said he quickly returned from the trip to conclude the shooting of the movie, Ipin Mi, which he is also directing. He has already shot a part of the film, which is being produced by South Africa-based Raymond Agaba, in London.
Saheed, alongside other stars like Kola Oyewo and Lola Idije, stormed Ikorodu, a suburb of Lagos State today for the shooting.
nigeriafilms.com gathered that Raymond, who recently returned to Nigeria from his base in South Africa, intends to change the face of Yoruba movies in the country, in a way that will be globally accepted.
“That is why I involved a crossover actor like Saheed. Besides, you will realise that the cast consists of versatile people. Apart from Yoruba, the movie is being shot in other languages like Zulu, Igbo and English. This, I believe, will give the movie international recognition, Raymond, who is currently the ambassador of an American product, Forever Living Cosmetic, said.
