Philosophical scriptwriter, actor, car dealer, hotelier, and politician, Chief Rotimi Makinde who is contesting for Ife Federal House of Representative under Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) Osun State is bereaved. Buzz reliably gathered that the articulate dude, narrowly escaped death during the Saturday National Assembly election as hired assassins stormed his house around 2a.m in Osun State in an attempt to kill him.
Though, he escaped, but some people around him were not that lucky as five of them we learnt were shot dead.
Since the gory incident, Chief Makinde who was kidnapped in 2007 when he contested for same position and lost, and also escaped another assassination attempt when assassins stormed his Isasi Ogun State home, is still mourning with the family of those who lost their lives.
