Forbes, an American business magazine has ranked the Real Madrid and Portugal Football star Cristiano Ronaldo as the joint-fourth highest-paid celebrity in the world.
Ronaldo total earnings can be summed as £66.2m both in salary and sponsorship income which makes him at the same level with Dr. Phil McGraw, the American TV star.
According to data report, Ronaldo who is 31 in age earns $55m in wages while the rest comes from his several lucrative sponsorship deals with global brands such as Nike, Tag Heuer, Sacoor Brothers suits and Monster headphones.
He is high above the Barcelona forward Lionel Messi who happens to be the second wealthiest footballer with an income of £61.3m but the eighth highest-paid celebrity.
Icon LeBron James, a basketballer is the third richest withan income of £57.9m, while musician Taylor Swift ranks the highest on the list with an income of £127.9m.
The other two celebrities that went above Ronaldo on Forbes’ list were British band One Direction £82.7m and American author James Patterson £71.5m.
