It was a very sad day for a woman on Sunday when hoodlums snatched her car with her baby inside and made away with it enroute robbery-prone Soko Estate Road, Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State.
It was gathered that Residents in Soko Estate Road, a link between Jakpa Road and Airport Road in Effurun have not had peace of mind because of the incessant attacks by armed gangs in the area.
One Mrs. Juliet, an eyewitness said the robbers in the Sunday incident were very fast in carrying out their operation.
Residents of Soko Estate Road and adjoining streets called on the Delta State government to intensify security in the area and urgently address the poor state of the road to ensure security of lives and properties in the area.
