Cognac giant, Hennessy has announced two Nigeria’s top rappers, MI and Naeto C as headliners for 2012 Hennessy Artistry.
According to a statement made available to Nigeriafilms.com, the two rappers would be involved in the 22-club tour slated for this year’s event.
In continuation of last year’s Hennessy Artistry formula, the two rappers have also conceptualised, written, recorded and performed a theme song that will drive this year’s project. The music vidoe of the theme will be aired on TV stations across Africa.
MI was quoted to have said, “I’m really appreciative that they (Hennessy) called me on board this year and I’m revved up to go!”
For Naeto C, “we are working night and day to see that this year’s Hennessy Artistry edition will be the best for Hennessy fans, music lovers and our fans.
“Many of our fans have been waiting for years for a Naeto C and M.I collaboration, and we both thought there was no time like the present to deliver this epic combination to them.”
The Club Tour will begin few weeks after the track is released in August. Fans are also expected to nominate artistes they expect to see perform at the club tour.
